Reconciliation: Available 30 minutes prior to the start of each weekend Mass (3:30 pm, 5:30 pm, 8:00 am, 10:00 am). Also, by appointment - please call the Pastorate Office at 563-870-4041.
Baptism: During any weekend Mass (depending on Church season or priest availability) or by appointment for special circumstances. Baptisms may be done on Saturdays at 3:00 pm prior to the 4:00 pm Mass in Holy Cross and after the 6:00 pm Mass at Sherrill and on Sundays at 7:30 am in Rickardsville or Balltown and after the 10:30 am Mass at Luxemburg (time must be approved). Contact Cindy or Jim at 563-870-4428 if you are planning a Baptism. Baptism classes are usually held the first Tuesday of each month (August-June) at 6:30 pm aftercontacting Cindy or Jim. All parents having a child baptized in the Pastorate need to attend a baptism class if the child is your first or second child.
Marriage: Please reserve the Church one year in advance. Contact Fr. Tyler at 563-870-4041 to arrange. He will instruct you in the steps and meetings you will need to follow. Please watch the video following the text on this page for the guidelines the Pastorate follows beginning in March, 2026.
Communion: If you are home-bound and would like Communion brought to you, contact the Church office (563-870-4041) to check on the availability of a Eucharistic Minister.

OCIA (Order of Christian Initiation for Adults): If you or someone you know is interested in becoming a Catholic, give Jim or Cindy a call at 563-870-4428. Classes will be set up based on the schedules of those who are interested.
